It's Monday

I woke up feeling gucky and icky with these eyes again. My house is so dusty but dusting is so futile and it just makes me miserable.

My downstairs smells like kitty litter and cat feces. I found the kittens on Saturday in the neighbor's boat. It wasn't a good environment for them squished up in a pitch black hole on some bottles with no space to move around. Their eyes were glued completely shut with gunk. Clearly, they couldn't stay there. But every time I brought them home, within a minute of turning my back Nea would start hauling them back to the boat like a mother obsessed. As a mother myself, I can relate to that, so
she finally got her wish...her kitties are her ticket to come inside where they will be safe.

The only place I could contain them is the downstairs bathroom. W
e have to wipe their eyes off with saline and gauze several times a day because they keep gluing shut. They probably need some ointment or something. Their owner doesn't have any $$. Neither do I. Vets aren't cheap. Every time I handle them, I'm an allergic mess afterwards. They're irresistibly cute though...and they need help!

For the 2nd week in a row the garbage didn't get out to the curb before the truck came. It smells like cat poop too...so it's an especial bummer.

It was to be Bunch's 1st private viola lesson today. I got lost finding the house, then when I got there the teacher had left a note on the door apologizing for not calling me but she couldn't find my phone number and she'd forgotten that she had a random rehearsal this morning and couldn't be there. She left 3 dum dum lollies for the kids though, which was very happily received by them.

We didn't read our scriptures this morning. My throat is scratchy and my nose is runny and I'm procrastinating going on a run. It's a glorious day though...high temp of 77 degrees.
I hope the rest of the day goes better than this morning has.

Blue, where do you live? I actually have kitty eye ointment stuff from fostering last year. Sorry for the rough day...I hate missing garbage days and getting lost (both of which happen too often to me, too!)
