...I'm completely, utterly, hopelessly, and detrimentally off any kind of schedule whatsoever. Take your pick: exercising, eating, sleeping, working...they're all completely whacked. Heaven help me when my alarm goes off in just 5 hours.
And indulge me for just a moment. This Comfort Inn in West Palm Beach is hands down the lamest crew hotel I've ever stayed in. No gym. No restaurant. No lounge. No sidewalks to run on. No local businesses. No room darkening shade. No room service. No soft pillows. Nothing nearby to do. No shuttle service to anything but the airport. Just shabby, tired rooms in an old, worn out building out in the middle of nowhere surrounded by offices.
I'm not a fan.
I now return you to your regularly scheduled whine-free programming. While I attempt to fall asleep.

I suppose the small bar of soap is no longer exciting to you.
And if they haven't soap and if you can't sleep? Then they're a worthless hotel.
Next time you go to the doctor ask for some Ambien to help you readjust your sleep schedule. Not useful for when you have 5 or 6 hours to crash between flights, but it will help you get a good night sleep on your first full night home. Randy uses it when traveling, it really does help the transition.
Sorry about the lame-o-lodgings sis. I guess I can relate on a small level today. After falling asleep putting the kids to bed around 10 last night, I woke up at 2:30 this morning because I thought I heard the baby cry. Got up, made him a bottle, bring it in to feed him but he's out cold. So I decide to wash a load of towels, do the dishes, organize the mail, check my daughter's homework log, prep bags for the morning and check your blog. It's now 4:10am and I've got to get up for work in about 2 hrs. What am I doing here? Suddenly, there's yet another contender. []:) (that's me being a block head)
