Life

My uncle sent me this, and I thought it was quite moving.

Group: Lifehouse
Song: Everything
Lyrics:
Find Me Here
Speak To Me
I want to feel you
I need to hear you
You are the light
That's leading me
To the place where I find peace again.

You are the strength, that keeps me walking.
You are the hope, that keeps me trusting.
You are the light to my soul.
You are my purpose...you're everything.

How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?

You calm the storms, and you give me rest.
You hold me in your hands, you won't let me fall.
You steal my heart, and you take my breath away.
Would you take me in? Take me deeper now?

How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?
And how can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?

Cause you're all I want, You're all I need
You're everything,everything
You're all I want your all I need
You're everything, everything.
You're all I want you're all I need.
You're everything, everything
You're all I want you're all I need, you're everything, everything.

And How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?
How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?

How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?

Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?

I thought it was a little weird and cheesey at first, but the last 40 seconds or so really got to me and were, as you said, quite moving. Thanks!

You summed my thoughts up perfectly Buddens! I was thinking, at the beginning, that maybe it would be a magic show or something, since my uncle has NEVER forwarded any YouTube video before, and is really selective about stuff. But as I realized what they were enacting, it drew me in. my kids watched it too, and it was a launch-point for a good discussion. ♥

I echo your thoughts too. It looked like a bad talent show at first but I ended up watching all the clips. Didn't realize I actually knew some Lifehouse songs already and I've really never heard of them. The clip with the teen statistics at the end was awakening. It sent shivers through me to hear all the youth at the concert cheering. Our youth are not all lost - they're stronger than ever. Thanks!

what i really like about it, that has stuck in my mind all week, is the delightful, happy look on his face, through everything, and then the way he doesn't dwell on her past, simply dusts her off and they continue on together. it was a poignant thing for me to consider. i really like this more and more. ♥
